Informal Review : Wire

I’m sad to say that I still haven’t gotten around to diving into the classic late-70s/early-80s Wire albums that are (reportedly) some of the best records of their era.  So, I can’t say how this one compares.  No concessions made on this record; these 50-year-olds have integrity, see, and, much like Fugazi, they’re going to make the mature punk rock that they want to make, goddamn it.  More power to them; not very exciting for me.
